Yamada joined the agency in August 2004. His audition was aired on the Ya-ya-yah show, and 2 years after that he got his first role in the live-action dorama “Tantei Gakuen Q”. In 2007 he became part of the junior unit “Hey! Say! 7” and released a single when he was still a junior.
By November, he got to debut as a member of Hey! Say! JUMP, and ever since, he has participated in many doramas until 2010 when his second debut as a member of NYC was decided, so he’s currently working hard on both groups.
On February 17, Yamada together with Nakajima and Chinen officially graduated at Horikoshi Academy. He says he can finally focus full-time on his career now.
